Grant Dollars available from BWSR
The Minnesota Board of Soil and Water Resources (BWSR) has awarded $203,158 for water quality improvement projects in the Swan River Watershed for 2011 & 2012 through Clean Water Legacy funding. The funds will be used for shoreland stabilization and restoration, river and lake bank stabilization, storm water controls, native plantings, livestock waste management and non-point erosion control projects. Work on these projects will begin in the Spring of 2011 and will be completed by Winter 2012.
