Bosek Fisheries plans to stock 400 pounds of walleye fingerlings at the Big Swan Lake public access on Sunday, Oct. 27 between 11 a.m. and noon, according to Al Leinen, project coordinator for the Big Swan Lake Improvement District (LID). Property owners are invited to view the process. The DNR approved stocking 400 pounds this fall. Leinen reports a number of nice sized first-year fingerlings survived after the initial 400-pound stocking last fall. At the August meeting, LID members approved stocking 800 pounds of fingerlings in 2020, contingent on DNR approval.
