Jim Bosek of Bosek Fisheries plans to stock Big Swan with this year’s walleye fingerlings tomorrow, starting about 10:30 a.m. at the public landing. Big Swan Lake residents started off the hot and humid Fourth of July with a boat parade.Tied as top entries were the Wayne Rahn family (top) and the Gray and Sievers families (bottom).
Big Swan Lake’s annual Fourth of July boat parade will proceed as planned. It will start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4 from the area of the public boat landing and south campground. If it is raining at that time, there will be a delay until it stops. Spread the word!
The Big Swan Lake Association board has canceled the 2020 spring meeting scheduled for Saturday, May 16, following the Governor’s recently extended stay-at-home directive. Supplier Jim Bosek dumped 400 pounds of walleye fingerlings into Big Swan last week. Stocking took place at the public landing on the south end and at the campground on the north end.
